has been helping local photographers learn about stereo photography and develop their skills in this fascinating field since 1951. Each month from September through June we meet together to share our best slides, and to see programs by some of the finest stereographers from around the world. While we enjoy all forms of 3-D, our primary focus is on encouraging our members to actively produce new stereo slide images, and we invite you to join us in this exciting pursuit. Every meeting offers a new opportunity for novice and advanced stereographers alike to display their work and to receive recognition and awards.
We also sponsor workshops on slide mounting, making stereoviews, and other areas of stereography, and can help you find stereo cameras, viewers, and other equipment to further your enjoyment and abilities. We publish a monthly newsletter The Stereo Window to help keep you informed about club activities and various developments in the world of stereo. Best of all, you’ll have the chance to meet new friends who share your interest in 3-D. All in all, we feel that our club offers opportunities that will both challenge and inspire you to grow and excel in this fascinating field.
You are always welcome to come to our meetings, to see our programs and get to know us – no advance arrangements are necessary, and there is no charge to attend. Our meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month
(no meeting in July or August) at the Livonia Civic Park Senior Citizens Activity Center, on the southeast corner of Farmington Road and Five Mile, from
7:00pm to 9:30pm. If you cannot attend the meetings, please consider becoming an Associate member and keeping in touch through the monthly newsletter. |
